The 2023 NHL All-Star Skills competition wrapped up on Friday night in South Florida with seven events taking place to start All-Star Weekend. The star of the evening was Alex Ovechkin's 4-year-old son Sergei. He helped out his dad in the Breakaway Challenge, along with his Ovechkin's rival Sidney Crosby, as he finished off their breakaway attempt. It received much love from the judge's panel, as Daniel Norris Jersey the trio earned 10s acro s the board. Nick Suzuki, Mikko Rantanen, Cale Makar, Juuse Saros and Connor Hellebuyck all also emerged victorious in their respective events. Four of these challenges have been around for years, which included the Fastest Skater, Breakaway Challenge, Accuracy Shooting and Hardest Shot. New this year were the Splash Shot, Pitch 'n Puck and Tendy Tandem. With appearances from Luongo, Barkov and Dolphins defensive lineman Christian Wilkins, Tkachuk uses his skills to bounce the puck on his stick before flipping up, catching the puck in his hat and slapping the shot by Luongo.
